Fermax 7440 Skyline Proximity Reader Module

The 7440 access control reader from Fermax is designed for use within their highly successful Skyline panel range. The panels are available flush and surface mounted.

The Fermax 7440 is an access control reader which allows your doors to be opened by swiping a credit card like proximity card or key-ring. Only authorised cards or key rings can activate this device and physical contact is not necessary.

Up to 400 proximity cards or key-rings can be registered and acoustic and visual confirmation is provided if the card or key swiped has been accepted or rejected.

The power supply and lock release are connected to the 7440 module and are installed inside the building, the reader is located in the external area.

• Does not require physical reader-card contact. 5 cm (card) or 1.5 cm (key fob) reading distance
• Exit relay and lock-release activation by relay with programmable times. Programmable for 1 to 99 seconds
• Simple programming - either manually or by PC (registering-unregistering cards)
• Acoustic and visual information for operations
• Door control sensor and exit button
• Signalling LEDs (programming assistance and status)
