The PABX interface enables a Videx entrance panel to be connected to an analogue extension port of a telephone switchboard. By simply connecting the unit via two wires to a free extension port, it allows the entry panel to call any other extension or hunt group.

This feature is very useful for premises such as office buildings, doctors surgeries and small schools.

When a button is pressed on the entrance panel, the relevant extensions(s) will ring and once answered, will allow a two way conversation and the opening of the door by pressing a designated key on the telephone keypad.
